About

I am preoccupied with the unseen, and with authenticity. By this I mean I attempt to capture elements of the raw existence all life is built on. I seek timelessness in my work, and one day I might even achieve it. I am often inspired by Medieval Christian imagery, which was painted with a philosophy that privileges the position of life as something undefinable, within which the totality of the universe is included.

I am a painter based in Falmouth, Cornwall, with a particular interest in egg tempera, exploring ways to breathe contemporary life into this ancient medium. My practice has engaged with esoteric, surrealist, and schizoanalytic methods to access altered states of mind. I investigate different approaches to communing with divinity—most recently by embracing chance as a guiding force. I am seeking further residency opportunities in Cornwall to deepen my connection with its mythic landscape and enrich my practice.

In June 2025, I graduated with a BA Hons in Fine Art from Falmouth University.
